New York, City Moments – Series No. 6 | Limited Edition Fine Art Print
A moment in transition. Photographed in Manhattan. Printed on premium museum-grade paper, signed and editioned by Scarlett.
The platform becomes a stage. Untitled No. 6 frames a passing instant underground, where two figures share space—but not direction. The woman in cream, poised and statuesque, stands still against a grid of textured glass, while a man turns away in the distance, already in motion. There’s no dialogue between them, only distance. And yet, the composition suggests something just beneath the surface—two lives, side by side, briefly intersecting in the hush between trains.
Behind The Lens
There’s something about subway platforms—they’re anonymous, uncurated, raw. That day, I stood across the tracks and saw the scene arrange itself. Her pose was unintentional, yet arresting. The man in the background leaned just slightly, unaware. The symmetry, the stillness, the subtle tension between them—it all happened in seconds. I didn’t move. I waited. When the space felt full, I pressed the shutter. Then the train came, and it was over.
